Historically, people with disabilities access higher education at far lower rates than their peers. Part of this access gap is due to inaccessible digital technologies. As part of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 508 requires all Title IV participating institutions to comply with certain digital accessibility guidelines to support people with disabilities when they access educational content.
This webinar will review regulations, software, and free tools that support people with disabilities in online spaces to increase access to higher education and maintain inclusive digital environments for all people, faculty and staff included.
