This report provides a diagnostic overview of ApplyTexas, the primary postsecondary application used by institutions of higher education in Texas. Herein, the report investigates the difficulty of the ApplyTexas across several metrics, comparing ApplyTexas to over 10 other postsecondary applications currently in use across the United States. Results suggest ApplyTexas could be simplified in many ways, possibly lowering the information hurdle for students to access higher education in Texas.
