Youth formerly in foster care (YFFC) are more likely to report facing financial struggles while in college and may lack resources, marketable skills, and have limited networks/ support to rely on. Using the results from the Fall 2021 Student Financial Wellness Survey, this brief highlights the unique experience of YFFC paying for college.
